Holidays in the Dordogne...
Péyrillault is a former farming
hamlet, located in beautiful countryside just 15 minutes
away from the bustling market
town of Ribérac in the Dordogne region of south-west France.
The property is surrounded by rolling hills, woodland and fields of
wheat, sunflowers and maize. It is a lovely setting for
self-catering countryside holidays. Our accommodation
suits adults as well as families who enjoy nature, walking, cycling, riding,
markets, painting, and bird watching,
but also for those who are interested in gastronomy and history.

There are many
chateaux, beautiful towns and villages to explore nearby including: the picturesque hilltop
town of Aubeterre; Brantome (the
'Venice of the Périgord'); and historic Périgueux. The latter
is the capital of the Dordogne and is famed for its five-domed Cathedral and web of medieval,
cobbled streets. It also boasts the remains of a Roman villa (now a
museum). Bergerac, with its international airport, is only
50 minutes from the property. Sarlat and the towns and
villages along the Dordogne river are 90 minutes away. |
